Magnificently situated accommodation in the beautiful Buttermere valley

We serve a full cooked breakfast with a vegetarian option, along with cereals, fresh fruit, home made bread and jam.

We prize our bacon and sausage, sourced through the highly acclaimed family butchers RB Woodall, who are regarded as masters in curing and the home of the Cumberland Sausage.

An evening meal (two course table d’hôte) with a vegetarian option is available by request. We ask for notice by the day before if you wish to eat and if you require the vegetarian option. Our meals are home cooked with locally sourced ingredients.

We also offer packed lunches for people setting off for a day of activities.

Wood House is a licensed premises and our drinks menu includes a selection of beer, wine, spirits and non alcoholic drinks.
